Have you ever been to a concert that featured solos via voice, guitar, violin, piano and ukelele? Last week we attended Sarah's last IB Recital and the program included excellent performances on this wide variety of instruments. 
As a part of their final course assessment the students in Sarah's IB class are required to submit to the IB organization approximately 15-20 minutes of recordings of themselves performing music before and audience. The other night, Sarah and her classmates logged their last performance for the year.
The music was great - jazz, folk, contemporary - and all performed so well. Gentry played a nice piece on her tenor ukelele and Sarah sang two songs, one 
where she accompanied herself on the guitar and one vocal solo with piano accompaniment.
It was a great night of music and memories.
