December, with all of its Christmas celebration is fun, but one of the big December celebrations in our house takes place before Christmas. The grand event is Dina's birthday.
This year Dina turned two score and eight. Her birthday is just a couple of days before Christmas so there is always a hint of a Christmas tree somewhere in her birthday pictures.
For Dina's birthday Sarah and I gave her a cute red sweatshirt and I (Ryan) gave Dina a note with some Korean writing on it. It was a great and mysterious gift, made even more so due to the fact that didn't write the name of the gift correctly in Korean. Needless to say, Dina was stumped (and so was Sarah).
The mysterious note said, "Korean Furniture," (at least in my mind). For Dina's birthday she is going to purchase a piece of Korean furniture to take back to the USA with her--as a reminder of our time and experience in Korea. Happy Birthday Dina!
Korean Furniture! We have some great pieces from Korea and people always comment on them! Have fun picking something out!
