On Saturday we boarded a bus and went to Ulsan, South Korea for the day. The father of one of our TCIS students works at Hyundai Heavy Industries and the company offered to host any TCIS staff that
would be interested in seeing their headquarters and ship building site in Ulsan. Ulsan is located on the South Eastern tip of South Korea. It is the home of Hyundai Heavy Industries, the largest shipbuilding company in the world.
We all enjoyed a tour of the ship building site, a wonderful lunch buffet at Ulsan University and then we spent an hour or so walking through Ulgi Park and viewing Daewangam Rock. The ocean view was terrific. It was a great day of seeing the sights and exploring more of the amazing country of South Korea.
