Reluctantly, on Tuesday of this week we moved to our fifth house/apartment in the six years years that we have been living in Daejeon, South Korea. Previously, we were living in an area called Expo, but the school decided to sell the apartment we were living in so now we have moved to Techno Valley. Our new school site is located in the Techno Valley area.
Our new apartment is on the 12th floor of a twenty story building. As you can see we have a good view and if you look close enough, the new school site can be spotted in the picture. (see the red arrow) Dina and I (Ryan) did the math and determined that this is our fifteenth move in nearly twenty-five years of marriage. We know that it probably won't be our last move, but we hope that it is our last in South Korea. However, it is highly unlikely in this very "dynamic" place.
The new apartment looks to be a ten-minute walk from the new school site. We are thankful for our new location and place to live. We will post pics of the new apartment at a later date. Currently, we are in the throes of post-moving shambles.
