It was so fun to have Paul and Roxie Miller visiting here in South Korea. They came to visit their kids and grandchildren but we were lucky enough to spend some time with them too. One of the special opportunities that we were able to share with them was a trip to the city of Seoul and the famous Seoul (Namsan) Tower.
After a "quick" trip on the bullet train from Daejeon to Seoul, we took the amazing Seoul subway from the train station into the Seoul Tower area. After a bit of a walk we found ourselves at the cable car that transports people up to the site of the Seoul Tower. Paul pulled out his credit card (he used it too much) and minutes later we all found ourselves standing at the base of Seoul Tower.
Before going up into the tower we enjoyed some interesting sights at its base. We watched a fascinating cultural presentation on ancient Korean weapons and fighting. We saw a giant "Teddy Bear" tree, we tried some silkworm larva and ate some tasty cotton candy.
Up in the tower we all enjoyed a breathtaking view of the never ending city of Seoul. As Ethan was admiring the view many of the Korean people were admiring him. He is a "cute" and handsome little guy.
It was a great time in Seoul with the Millers.
