Here at our school in South Korea we are fortunate to have the opportunity to have a weekly chapel service where the staff and students of each of the schools gather to sing, worship, pray and consider the Word of God together.
Last week, Sarah made her debut as a "drummer" in the middle school worship band. Sarah has been working on playing the drum set and she mustered up the courage, made herself available and got the nod. She did a wonderful job. We are proud of her.
Sarah must have gotten her drumming talent from her mother. Here is a picture of Dina and Laurie playing a Korean Drum video game. Look at those sticks fly!
Sarah, Sarah......!! I L-O-V-E drums! I really wish I played them because there is something about the way they enhance a song that just gives me chills sometimes!! I am always "drumming" on my thighs (whether sitting in the pew or singing in the choir....with the exercise, why don't I have better looking thighs then??). Granddad says he'll buy me a drum set thing like yours but I think it's too late to teach this old dog any new tricks so I will be proud of you and continue to love drumming!! Yay!!! Hugs to you, Grandma and Granddad
