Sunday was a special day in our house. It was Sarah's 14th birthday. We have celebrated her birthday throughout the weekend. On Friday night Sarah had some friends over for a sleep over and the girls all had a good time. They went up town and enjoyed a meal at McDonalds, they took sticker photos and then did some "shopping."
Back at the house they enjoyed Sarah's birthday cake. It was made by Sarah's friend, Anna, and it was delicious. The girls watched a movie together and stayed up way too late talking, laughing and doing whatever girls do at a sleepover.
On Sunday we went to church and then out to lunch at the Time World shopping mall in Daejeon. When we got home Sarah opened her birthday presents. She received some nice gifts: some headphones, lots of fingernail polish from her sister and the last season of the Lucy Show. Sarah now has all of the Lucy Show videos.
We are thankful for Sarah and for every second of the fourteen years that we have had her in our lives.
