Over Chuseok Break we spent three days on the beach in the beautiful city of Busan, South Korea. We went on this little mini-vacation with the Miller family. It was a fun time.
The kids had a blast hanging out together. We spent lots of time on the beach, in taxis, on subways and even in a bus (thanks to David). We visited the world famous Haeundae Beach, the Haeundae Aquarium, the world's largest department store (according to the Guinness Book of World Records) in Shinsegae Centum City, the Jalgachi Fish Market and the Beomeosa Buddhist Temple.
We ate at T.G.I. Fridays (on a Saturday), Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Bennigan's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Starbucks. We slept on the floor in Korean Ondol style rooms and we stayed in the Haeundae Grand Hotel. We saw dogs, cats, penguins and seagulls and we caught live crabs and collected beautiful shells on the beach.
The weather was hot and sunny and the evenings were cool and comfortable...kind of. After about an hour of sleeping on the floor it began to feel like we were sleeping on the floor.
We did a lot of walking, a lot of laughing and made some great memories.
Sarah is catching up to Bec--both looking beautiful!! what a great weekend!
